French Dragoon
The horseman in green with the brass helmet
is a French Dragoon. The original design was considerably more gory,
with many dead and wounded Frenchmen. A resounding
success for the British (having 120 French Dragoons killed at the
cost of 2 Hussars) but, it was
felt that it would upset some members of the viewing public.
I concentrated more on the drama of the charge rather than the
battle itself.
